Star Wars: The Lost Chapters

Prologue   
At the end of the Galactic Civil War, with the destruction of the World Devastators and subsequent fall of the Empire, the galaxy entered a time of relative peace. But all was not well.  
Several smaller factions, inspired by the Galactic Empire’s success and thinking they could do better, attempted to establish empires of their own. Many attempts were crushed immediately by much more powerful opponents, but many others succeeded in gaining a foothold, and began to spread. XXI"Run! Come on!" the captain shouted from the sail bridge of the Type XXI U-Boat. The agents they were supposed to pick up were running like hell down the pier, their pursuers were still by the warehouse. The U-boat sat untethered, the captain had guided the helmsman as close as he could. The agents leaped the gap and landed on top of the sail, scrabbling inside.  They heard the sharp reports of gunshots and the sides of the sail sparked and pinged. The captain banged on the door of the gun turret in front of him. "Your ten 'o clock, return fire!" In response the turret turned and the twin-barrel 20mm FlaK gun lit up the night as it chatt XXI

Well, I'm finally writing something. My muse finally bonked me over the head with her baseball bat of inspiration in the form of a dream. Unfortunately, I don't think she hit me hard enough, cuz while I am writing about the dream, it needs bettr background than what it has now. I'm working on it, but it's proving difficult to come up with stuff to fill it out with... I AM making progress though, which is more than I can say for my other stories... >.=.> *ahem*

I have to say this drawing I’m doing for your story “XXI” has completely changed over, for some reason the concept has changed to an eagles eye view “looking down at the overall war proceeding.” Nevertheless I still like how it’s coming out so I’m going to continue this project.

P.S. Sorry it’s taking so long for me to finish, schools starting up, and my tutor for writing is breathing down my neck about preparing for some test I have to take meeting the school year.
