Yup, thats me. Wearing firefighting gear.
This was taken during a General Quarters drill. I really wasn't supposed to... but I was by myself six decks down in a tiny space with nothing more than a fire hose for company for two hours. I was bored...
I'm a Boundaryman, which means I watch a fire boundary to keep a fire from spreading, hence the hose. I had to climb down a vertical ladder with an air bottle on my back to get there, fighting 'safety' nets that seemed determined to grab everything they could.
